In this week’s article, I challenge retired law professor Linda Hirshman to debate the proposition, “An educated, competent adult’s place is in the office.” Good Morning America gave this woman two days to make her case. Good Morning America recently gave two days to “The Mommy Wars.” highlighting a feminist named Linda Hirshman, a retired law professor. Her argument is that “choice feminism” has been a failure, because too many of the younger generation of highly educated, promising women have chosen to stay home with their children. I reply: “Out of Touch Feminism” has been a failure. These self-appointed spokeswomen for American womanhood have no idea what makes women tick, and have contempt for what real women actually want. The recent New York Times article on the Cuddle Puddle at Stuyvesant High School unwittingly undermines the legal strategy of the Gay Rights movement. Because the article chronicles the sexual adventures of a group of hetero-sexual students, you might think it would fall squarely in the pro-homosexual camp. Nonetheless, a close read of the piece completely dismantles one of the leading claims made by the gay rights legal strategists: the claim that sexual orientation is a fixed trait. You know the idea: People are born gay or straight. Only an ignoramus or a Neanderthal would even imagine that there is an element of choice, chance or change in sexual orientation. (more…)

Dennis Prager recently argued that the Left values equality more than it hates evil. He is absolutely right. But I can go Dennis Prager one better: the Left hates sex. Not sexual activity, mind you. No, the Left is hyper-active sexually. I mean something much deeper: the Left is war with the fact that we are sexual beings. (more…)

Repealing The Law Of Cause And Effect

It is startling to realize that the looming battle for the Supreme Court hinges on whether nominees will pledge their support for the utterly irrational demand to suspend the law of cause and effect. For that is what the claim that we have a constitutional right to “reproductive freedom” amounts to. All Americans are entitled to have the cause, namely, unlimited sexual activity, without ever experiencing the effect, namely, a live baby. To see the absurdity of this claim, try out a couple of analogies. (more…)
